OOTD: Garden Power. ツ

Today it was so nice outside, I absolutely had to wear a dress to "celebrate" this. I chose this flowery dress from H&M's Garden Collection and wore it "my way". Hadas from I am your fashion mannequin has the same dress and she looks stunning in it =) *give it a look*

What I did with my day was nothing special... My mum made me join her and my sisters to get their school supplies. It was ok =)

BUT I can't wait for my besties Leslie and Lilian to come back from their vacations. I don't have many friends (this is positive!) and them leaving at the same time for vacations at different places makes me being left alone. 8 days left till they are back, I think I can handle the boredom till then. xD

For now, huge headache alarm...-.-'

Just got back from my short trip to France where I went to visit the French part of my family. It's pretty amazing that I just need 20-30mins to get there and only 3h to get to Paris. Living so close does have it's advantages.

The weather remembered that usually in August the sun shines, so it has decided today to give us a glimpse of what it's capable and it was sooo good. Blue sky, pretty little white clouds and a smiling sun were over the houses and trees. Temperature was ~22°C but it felt way hotter in the sun. I decided to wear a dress, but not just any dress. A dress I own already some years but wore it only twice, for what reason ever. When I am wearing it, I feel like a native Indian, don't know why really but it just is the case. Just take a look. x)

I love this earrings xD no matter what somebody says, I call them 'vintage owls' ^^

I got them (together with the violet ones as a pack) from SIX. The picture does them no justice though, the violet ones sparkle beautifully as well as the eyes of the owls.

Seeing these pictures, I think I look a bit sick or something o.O Well, it's about the clothes, not about my face xD But I miss my longish hair -.- this is a strange length, not really short and not really long enough to do something with them... I used to wear "fake braids" as headband and everybody always asked if this are my real hair x) but with this short style, they look rather stupid; believe me I tried it and ran around an entire day with terrible hair xD Enough talk for today.

OOTD (the first): the key to my cage.

I am back, at least more or less. I still am on my summer break but the weather doesn't seem to know that we are still August. I don't like. It keeps raining all day long and the temperature swings between 'too warm for a jacket' and 'too cold for t-shirts', so you wear anything and get out and have to live with the situation you are facing. Enough weather rant.

I had to leave the house today to get some university stuff done and I had to look a bit "normal" to not (yet) scare the people away. I went for a dark blue-grey combination and it was comfy and ok and excellent for the weather condition: not to warm, not to cold. I had to "force" my brother to take the pictures and this time it actually worked out. *Thanks Bro* And as you can see, I have a beautiful purple wall paint =)

mini haul: Desigual? x)

Before some days, I went on the 'camera hunt' (I now have a new one, Woot! Woot!) with my bestie and we ended up in a designer boutique which sells Desigual among other brands =)usually these clothes cost a fortune, but as they still had what they call "the 3rd edition of sales" (60% off on everything that is not marked as 'New Arrival') I had to give it a try =) I came out of the shop with this:

Now this colorful mini tube dress is actually from Vero Moda and not Desigual, but I love the pattern and the colors used on it; somehow it's so Me. African/Native Indian inspired, I like.

I fell in love with this Flower Power Jacket from Vero Moda (no Desigual either) the moment I lay my eyes on it. I found out that the collar works pretty good with my short hair, don't really know how, but it just looks good.

You like the two items? Although it's not Desigual?

FIRST: Ring*Con 2009 in Maritim Hotel Bonn, Germany xD

My first time being there or at any convention ever and it was huge, Huge, HUGE fun and amazing and everything and if I actually start to talk about it, I guess, I wont stop till october xD So, just look at the pictures and try to imagine x)

Ring*Con 09 Vampire Ball: Me, "Jacob Black" à la Werewolf and elfish Alice Cullen xD (and a Vampire trying to bite her neck =[ )

oooh, look whom I met in Bonn: the mouthwatering Edi Gathegi =) (sorry for the awkward pose,I was intimidated^^)

and I met sweet Christian Serratos =) [I asked her a question during the Q&A session and was featured on the Ring*Con DVD lol]

SECOND: July 6th was my Graduation and afterwards we should have had a Prom, but at a friend's house because my class wanted to boycott the official Prom due to rudeness from the Senior Prom Comity (is that the word?oO) towards us. Well, the Prom ended as a chill-out-sit-on-a-couch-drink-smoke-listen-to-horrible-music-event which I loathed a lot and still do. First because I don't smoke, neither do I drink. Secondly I wanted a real Prom, like the Americans have (which I could have had, if I did what I wanted instead of what all the others did!!!).

In the end I'm glad I didn't spend a lot of money on the dress, but unfortunately I did unintentionally spend a fortune on my hair and make-up x_X. (Short summary of my visit at the hairdresser: she STRAIGHTENED my curls! and when she was done with my make-up I thought she transformed me into a prostitute and was close to tears! I am so not used to straight hair, neither to much make-up o.O but in the end every one told me I looked amazing, so with time I got over it.)
