Valentine's Day…

Yup, that dreadful day was yesterday…being a single is not easy during that time, but surprisingly I got away without any hurt feelings or a need to punch someone in the face xD It turned out to be a day like every other day too; I was "working" with my friends on our "future" video, that we had already more or less long planned to shoot. I won't give away what it's all about; maybe one day you'll see for yourself =) But because I knew exactly that it was Valentine's Day (my bestie "pretended" to not know what is happening in the world ;)), I wanted to dress to look the part and so here you have it, my V-Day inspired outfit^^

the caged bird?

Long time no see xD I've been sick for quite some time now, more precisely: I had a flu. Adding to this I had my end of semester exams and I'm in my 1 month vacation, but so far I couldn't profit from it -.- So here I am, on my way to being healthy again (especially my lungs need to get fit again), with an outfit post for you =)

I don't know exactly how to explain this, but the jumper has a nice shape, it slightly looks like a skater dress but at the same time it doesn't xD I found it in the back of my wardrobe after searching for a warm jumper since we have around -10°C here! *freezing* I haven't worn it in ages and I have the same one in grey too^^ Somehow I never realized that I actually like them or I just wore them in a way I didn't really like it, who knows…=)

Becky goes 1920s

Hey there! It has been more than a month, but I'm still alive xD

On Thursday (08.12.11), I went to see a play called "Our Town/Luxembored?" acted by my university's theater-drama club "Edudrame". The play was ok up to good, but there were a few moments where I lost interest in it. Afterwards, there was a 1920s soirée in a café close to the theatre. Even before we went to see the play, we invaded a Finnish Erasmus student's room *hei Emmi!=)* to get dressed and we messed a bit around x) We exchanged clothes and jewels and we made one another's hair and tried to put on our make-up. The night itself was a blast!=) Much fun dancing to 20s music, many dressed up people and my friends!xD Emmi tried to teach us how to dance the Charleston, but I can't do it to save my life^^ (Only down-side: the cigarette stench! I can't wait that the Government decides on banning cigarettes in cafés and restaurants!)

Animal print.

Nail polish: "27 No More Drama" by essence & go

These shorts are the only item I possess with something close to animal print xD The sun decided to show itself today after more than a month of RAIN x_X This year, we really don't have much luck with the weather and I miss my beloved sun so much that I might have a little winter depression if I don't get my dose soon…xD Anyways, since it was ok outside I decided to get my shorts out of the wardrobe and get myself outside in the garden and take some pics there…=) Also, today I'm free from work and I had an extra long weekend, where I did mostly sleeping and watching movies. Tomorrow, back to work for another week and then I'm done for this summer x)

♪♫ Fête de la Musique '11 in Dudetown ♫♪

Yup, outdoor festivals arrived and even my town was hit by one!xD Here is what I wore to exams and because of an impromptu decision I didn't change for the festival in my town:

'Fête de la Musique' (means: Feast of the Music) was Saturday 18th and it is one of the biggest festivals/feasts that my town and the Dudetown's Fête de la Musique is the most popular one because we usually have the best bands playing!xD First I didn't really want to go because of my exams on Monday and Tuesday, but I AM SO GLAD I CHANGED MY MIND afterwards!x) Puggy, one of my favorite bands, played and I really like their music and after listening to them while studying, I thought "why not?!" and called my cousin to say that I'll join her. It was THE BEST concert I have been to so far! We stood in the 3rd row and because of some people moving, we stood in the second row pretty much on the left but in general had a good view to the stage. I could ramble on about how great they were and are and everything but to make it short: I simply love Puggy's music and them!♥

"La dernière ligne droite" like the French say; 2 exams left and I can't anticipate the end even more…xD The weather was supposed to be good, which it was this morning (meanwhile it's raining), and I thought I could wear a skirt =) Here it is:

Today at uni, there was a bit of a depressed/sad atmosphere… Most of the Law students finished their exams, others, like me, still need to write some extra exams. I saw some of my friends yesterday and today for the last time before we meet again in January because they will be doing their abroad semester. My Swiss friend, although we got on each others nerves quite a lot these last days, said goodbye with a huge hug, reminded me permanently that we will see us again in January and that I should chin up and be brave. That was the very moment I realized that I will miss him, no matter how much we were fighting and no matter what I said. =S and I think he'll miss me too…

But, to conclude this depri-paragraph I will use Shakespeare's words:

"The show must go on!"

I also had lunch with my Swedish friend at a Mexican Restaurant called "Chi Chi's". I never had Mexican food before and this was just super delicious!n_n We talked and laughed and did a great job at procrastination because we stood at the restaurant from 1PM till 5PM and we both write our International Law extra exam tomorrow^^ (may I say that at the best occasions I never have my camera with me xP)

OOTD: Girls night out. =)

I am cheating. This isn't today's, neither yesterday's outfit but it's from Thursday night. I met my two friends which were with me in Senior Year and with whom I get along splendid. I don't see them as often as I would like to because both decided to go to work instead of, like me, choosing university. We still argue about who made the better choice, but I still think that it's me xD

We went for dinner in a super nice restaurant and the food was sooo gooood n_n One of my 2 friends even crushed on one of the waiters and he didn't stop staring at our table^^ Side-note: we were the loudest table because we had mad fun and laughed throughout the whole evening.

I took the pictures after getting home because I got ready in a hurry, the dinner was a spontaneous action.

a very merry unbirthday to you. ♥ (#3)

My cousin Myriam had her 17th birthday on December, 20th and we celebrated in one of the best cafés I have seen so far because NO SMOKING allowed inside of the café!=) As a non-smoker, I don't appreciate the cigarette stench after a night out x) The café is called 'Urban' and is in a mall which closed at 8PM, but the café and the cinema above are always available. Since my cousin is so young, all of the other guests were average 16years old, except my brother, my bestie Leslie, a new found friend *hi Mandy^^*, a friend of my cousin and me, we were the Twenties xD we had fun though, creating an invisible border between the 20's and the underaged and only my cousin dared to pass the line x) So here are some pictures:

My bestie Leslie and I left the café to explore the closed mall and so she decided that I should play model and she takes the pictures xD Everything went well, until the Security Man came and said that we don't have the right to take pics because we violate the "Architecture's right" or something which I heard about once during my studies^^ So, being good girls, we went back inside the café^^ But here are some of the pictures she took =)
