Becky goes 1920s

Hey there! It has been more than a month, but I'm still alive xD

On Thursday (08.12.11), I went to see a play called "Our Town/Luxembored?" acted by my university's theater-drama club "Edudrame". The play was ok up to good, but there were a few moments where I lost interest in it. Afterwards, there was a 1920s soirée in a café close to the theatre. Even before we went to see the play, we invaded a Finnish Erasmus student's room *hei Emmi!=)* to get dressed and we messed a bit around x) We exchanged clothes and jewels and we made one another's hair and tried to put on our make-up. The night itself was a blast!=) Much fun dancing to 20s music, many dressed up people and my friends!xD Emmi tried to teach us how to dance the Charleston, but I can't do it to save my life^^ (Only down-side: the cigarette stench! I can't wait that the Government decides on banning cigarettes in cafés and restaurants!)

The 4th UL Summer Concert

I went to the Summer Concert of my university yesterday and it was…well, let's just simply face it: bad. BUT there were a very few performances which I enjoyed such as the girl beginning to sing the biographies of, among others, Jules Verne or 1-2 songs of the UL Choir or the UL Instrumental Ensemble (& the redheaded Soloist because she was singing good) or the Silent Theater group where my Bestie Leslie and a super nice girl/friend from my semester * Hi Kim n_n * performed in xD The rest…well, I was constantly ranting during their performances because after one year of practice they could've done better than what they showed, but OH KAY, I shall be silent now^^

a very merry unbirthday to you. ♥ (#3)

My cousin Myriam had her 17th birthday on December, 20th and we celebrated in one of the best cafés I have seen so far because NO SMOKING allowed inside of the café!=) As a non-smoker, I don't appreciate the cigarette stench after a night out x) The café is called 'Urban' and is in a mall which closed at 8PM, but the café and the cinema above are always available. Since my cousin is so young, all of the other guests were average 16years old, except my brother, my bestie Leslie, a new found friend *hi Mandy^^*, a friend of my cousin and me, we were the Twenties xD we had fun though, creating an invisible border between the 20's and the underaged and only my cousin dared to pass the line x) So here are some pictures:

My bestie Leslie and I left the café to explore the closed mall and so she decided that I should play model and she takes the pictures xD Everything went well, until the Security Man came and said that we don't have the right to take pics because we violate the "Architecture's right" or something which I heard about once during my studies^^ So, being good girls, we went back inside the café^^ But here are some of the pictures she took =)

Becky goes Harry Potter?!x)

Hello!x)

On Saturday I went to see "Harry Potter and the deathly hollows" with my cousin. I am an absolute sucker for Harry Potter so this movie is/was a must!xD I LOVED IT!♥ My cousin wasn't so convinced but joined me because she likes me so much, haha^^ after the movie, she said that she didn't expect it to turn out so great and that she will definitely go and watch it again =) 1-0 for me xD

As a good girl, I payed attention to what the actors wore and so I fell in love with one of Ginny Weasley's (acted by Bonnie Wright) dresses made by Jenny Packham... (couldn't find a better picture=/)

...Just to realize that on Thursday, I tried on a dress that looks very similar to the dress she wore in the movie. I didn't buy the dress back then because it's 45€ and I'm not sure if I should really spend this much on another dress, but now I WANT IT!xD

OOTD: Hoot! Hoot!

I found one pretty Owl necklace and since I'm in love with owl accessories, I HAD TO GET IT! especially because it was the last one they had =) Claire from French for Cupcakes has the very same necklace but she got it from another place than me^^

and that's what I wore with my owl xD I know, it's november and pretty cold outside; I was wearing black tights but once at home I took them off^^ more comfy =)
