hmm... I just flickered trough my iPhoto Library and thought I could post some of the pictures =)

FIRST: Ring*Con 2009 in Maritim Hotel Bonn, Germany xD

My first time being there or at any convention ever and it was huge, Huge, HUGE fun and amazing and everything and if I actually start to talk about it, I guess, I wont stop till october xD So, just look at the pictures and try to imagine x)

oooh, look whom I met in Bonn: the mouthwatering Edi Gathegi =) (sorry for the awkward pose,I was intimidated^^)

and I met sweet Christian Serratos =) [I asked her a question during the Q&A session and was featured on the Ring*Con DVD lol]

SECOND: July 6th was my Graduation and afterwards we should have had a Prom, but at a friend's house because my class wanted to boycott the official Prom due to rudeness from the Senior Prom Comity (is that the word?oO) towards us. Well, the Prom ended as a chill-out-sit-on-a-couch-drink-smoke-listen-to-horrible-music-event which I loathed a lot and still do. First because I don't smoke, neither do I drink. Secondly I wanted a real Prom, like the Americans have (which I could have had, if I did what I wanted instead of what all the others did!!!).

In the end I'm glad I didn't spend a lot of money on the dress, but unfortunately I did unintentionally spend a fortune on my hair and make-up x_X. (Short summary of my visit at the hairdresser: she STRAIGHTENED my curls! and when she was done with my make-up I thought she transformed me into a prostitute and was close to tears! I am so not used to straight hair, neither to much make-up o.O but in the end every one told me I looked amazing, so with time I got over it.)

„Good Morning Baltimore!“

Who hasn’t seen the movie „Hairspray“, please leave this blog, watch it and come back afterwards. For all the others, you know about whom I am talking: Tracy Turnblad!

Well, she has been played by the gorgeous Nikki Blonsky who is a pretty plus size girl.

The movie itself is a hymn to all plus size girls and women on planet earth and shows that weight shouldn’t prevent you from fulfilling your dreams. And that being slim doesn't automatically mean that you are happy. Neither should your skin color be a topic of discussion, but that everybody is equal. (If I continue, it will end in a rant xD)

After the hype around „Hairspray“ stopped, it went quite quiet around Nikki Blonsky (maybe because Hollywood still holds tight to their skinny ideals of beauty, who knows?!).

I thought I could start something like a revival for pretty Blonsky because I like her a lot. She always smiles and brightens her surrounding wherever she is. Being big never seemed to bother her much (at least when you see how she presents herself in public) and she seems to feel at ease in her body.

I searched her best outfits (in my opinion) on the Internet and made a collage, so here you go:

Hello.

I am a fan of all nerdy and geeky stuff. From video games over to comics over to writing over to photography over to painting and etc simply everything. To me, being a nerd or a geek also means to be extraordinary without noticing it.

If you want to, you can take this post as a little tribute to the Nerds and Geeks and Dorks and Losers out there. *You guys rock!*

Whoever made them is a little genius. At least from my point of view. I even found some nice goodies for Men. I like. (Of course, it exists about a zillion geek t-shirts for guys, but posting my favorites, let alone my all of them would take me ages xD)

I still don't understand how Nerds and Geeks and Losers can be bullied and pushed around and made fun of. It's not a crime to have a passion for something, nor to be over-informed about something. If you meet the right ones, they can be the most interesting people you meet. Opposite to others, they do know what they are talking about. It may not always be comprehensive for someone who isn't familiar with the topic but, I love the passion they have and show while trying to convince you that Spiderman is in some battles way better than Superman or Batman. And that Shakespeare can still be found in our time, if you observe a bit. Or a Canon Digital camera might still beat a Nikon because of this and that. I like listening to them. =)

Hello.

I thought I simply start with a post which (more or less) explains a bit who I am. But first of all, dear reader, I’m pleased to meet you, although I may not know your name nor from where you are, if you read this during the day or night and if it’s out of boredom or interest and etc. This ‘Hi’ goes out to You and just You. (You can feel honored now, if you feel like ;))

‘She’ goes by the name of Rebecca which is pronounced as Becky or Beccs. I am (forever) 21 years old, the oldest of 12 children and a (not so) serious Law student. I am typing from a boring and tiny country of West Europe (it barely represents a dot on the world map). A frisky, funny, sarcastic/ironic, creative 5’5” plus-size girl which is considered an adult woman. I love to laugh and smile, so this is what I do most of the time, except early in the morning when I have to get up for things I don’t think are worth leaving Dreamland.

Family and (true) friends make me more than happy. Colorful is my favorite color and usually I can’t write sentences without smilies (but I make an exception for blogs, stories and tests/exams). I have a ‘faible’ for bows, stars, butterflies, fairies, sunshine, flowers, hats and nerdy stuff. Music, Movies and Books are essential for me. The best way to express myself is by writing it down (read a bit here). Taking pictures is a way for me to capture special moments. I’m fond of literature, foreign languages/countries and sports, especially those which aren’t really meant for girls like Rugby, Ice Hockey and Football/Soccer. Like many girls, I love to do shopping and I have witnesses to prove that I do a lot ^.^

Oh, and by the many mistakes I'll probably did and do while writing proves that unfortunately I am not a native English speaker nor writer.

Hmm… So by now you should be a little bit prepared to what may come and with what you are dealing xD
